We Have Ice!!!

Ice Report:

As of last Saturday there was no less than 8" of ice - up to 11" in some spots. By now with this cold snap there should be another 2 inches or so.


Beware of the tipical week spots:

By Griffis Road and scout

Between the Rock Pile and
the Marina Side of Wally's
Sin Clair Point has some open water. Snowmobiles watch it! Four Wheelers stay AWAY from these 3 spots. USE YOUR HEAD!!!!

AS ALWAYS - IF YOU DO NOT KNOW THIS LAKE BE SURE TO RIDE WITH SOMEONE WHO DOES - OR USE CAUTION!!!

FISHING:

WALLEYE - are biting. They are not on fire, but not dead either

Perch - Good

Northern - OK (nothing crazy)

Trout -  are slowing down a bit

Bass -  are biting great - BUT you cannot keep them

Tip of the Week:
Tie your shanty down! Use a stick to hold it down (through the ice)
Make sure your wood stove is closed. BEFORE YOUR SHNATY FLIPS!!!
