Lake Temp is 32 degrees!

Ice Report: As of Friday there was a minimum of 7" of ice with some places reporting up to a foot of ice! Snowmobile riders were reported up by Captain Nauti's.

Fishing is good!
More ice Shanty's are appearing on the Lake daily! They are catching Perch and Walleye and Medium size pike 25-30"

Be careful of the shorelines when pulling the shanty's out onto the ice, but other than that you should be good!

By this weekend with the cold temperatures we should be up to a foot of ice in most places!

Tip of the Week: Make sure to anchor down your shanty - or it may not be there when you go back!!

Have fun and be safe!

December 6th, 2013

Water Temperature is: 32 Degrees

ALL the bays are now frozen and they have been fishing from the Northville Bridge to the spillway. We do not recommend that at this point as the warmer weather has made the ice a little unpredictable. We are expecting 3 inches of snow or so tonight, and a nice long cold spell. IF this is the case the entire lake should be frozen by NEXT weekend!

They have been fishing on Northville and Mayfield lakes which appear to have a good 4 inches of ice. They have been catching perch, walleye, crappie and sunfish.

Tip of the Week: BE SURE to ask an ice fisherman about the ice conditions BEFORE jumping on your sled and riding the lake. They KNOW the ice conditions!

Be careful out there folks! We are almost there but not quite!
