The Lake hasn't changed much in about a month. Mother nature psyched us out!

It is a great time to walk the shoreline and see what has washed up.

There is not much boating going on this time of year, but if you are out on the wate br SURE to look out for those "gotch's". The buoys are out - SO PAY ATTENTION!!!!

The water is lowere this year than it has been in the last 6 years or so.

Water Temperature is 51 degrees

Fishing :
The brown trout are biting well. The Fishinf Federation just stocked 2,200 22" brown trout and will be stocking 8" Walleye this week!

The Walleye are picking up as they are starting to feed.

Tip of the Week
Don''t worry - all the 4 wheeler tracks will wash away by spring!

Boating:

The water is down quite a ways, but not as much as it was at this time of year 5-6 years ago. Stick to the channels and avoid any bad habits you have developed from the high waters this year. Most of the bays are alright - but use caution.

The trap islands are all out and there is PLENTY of beach!

Water Temperature:

The water Temperature is 77 up by Conckingville and 74 by Mayfield.

Fishing:

The Walleye are biting nicely but are small - Mostly 14"-15"

Trout is Picking up.

Tip of the Week:

Don't let someone who has never navigated this lake before borrow your boat!

If you take your boat out just be sure to PAY ATTENTION!

Most residential docks are just starting to float. All the commercial docks are OK. The state launches MAY be allowing smaller watercraft to launch.

It looks like we should be where we need to be in about 2 weeks, if we keep getting these small storms.

Fishing:

Trout - Open. Both the brown and the rainbow are biting
Walleye and Northern open this week and it looks like it is going to be a good early season for them.

Tip of the week: It is a good time to get some dock maintenance done. Check your anchors and chain and inspect your barrels and floatation.

**** Although the water is low, it looks like we are going to have a good year for beaches which we haven't had in a while. Erosion is to a
